In samenwerking met KL4x4Parts levert L-R-Parts.nl sinds 2025, naar eigen zeggen, de beste nieuwe Land Rover deuren op de markt. Deze deuren worden in Duitsland verbeterd, in elkaar gezet en afgewerkt en wij distribueren deze voor onze klanten in de BeNeLux.
Maar wat maakt deze deuren nou zo speciaal? En wie is dan het gezicht achter dit staaltje vakwerk?
Om dit verhaal tot leven te brengen, hebben we onze Duitse partners bij KL4x4Parts een aantal vragen gesteld in een kort interview: Maak kennis met Jörg en Anna!
How did your passion for Land Rovers start?
Subconciously probably in my early teens watching my uncle undertake desert trips in his Range Rover and Discovery 1.
Conciously when i was about 16 and I restored a Series 2 for a school project and then wanted a Defender myself.
What motivated you to start making these doors?
Initially to supply my own projects with good quality doors after being frustrated with the options available at the time.
Eventually I decided to provide the market with a good quality option at an affordable price that goes beyond the normal Land Rover quality and orientates itself on modern build standards.
What details are you most proud of in your doors?
The doors will never be a mass-produced item as every door is assembled by hand by the same person. Therefore always ensuring the same build quality. I build each door like I would build it for my own vehicle.
With a background in fabrication and coachbuilding this also enables me to cater for one-off request from customers if they need non-standard door layouts.
What do you hope people feel when they install your doors on their Land Rover?
I hope that they feel satisfied at fitting a long lasting and good quality product whose attention to detail goes beyond the standard Land Rover quality.
What kind of feedback from customers means the most to you?
The best feedback is when they recommend me to a friend ;). I have commercial customers that rather wait for my doors than order elsewhere.
Where do you see this passion project going in the future?
Hopefully we can supply doors for many years to come. There are still a few Defenders out there that
dont have our doors yet ;). Besides this we are also currently looking into a few other neuralgic body parts that we
will then offer in galvanised.

Uit Duitsland, voor de BeNeLux: Land over deuren met oog voor detail
Zie hieronder de belangrijkste kenmerken van deze hoog-kwaliteit deuren:
- Volledig verzinkt frame voor langdurige duurzaamheid;
- Verbeterd stalen plaatwerk, behandeld in een elektrolytisch zink bad;
- Panelen professioneel en nauwkeurig op het frame bevestigd, vrij van de gebruikelijke zichtbare deuken;
- Afgedichte naden voor extra bescherming;
- Geen onnodige bevestigingsgaten;
- Correct gepositioneerde afwateringsgaten;
- Sterke lijm laag tussen frame en panelen om klapperen te voorkomen;
- Gespoten met naadafdichting om de deurpanelen iets meer volume te geven, trillingen te verminderen en dat bevredigende “premium” gevoel te geven bij het sluiten van de deur;
- Schone, direct te gebruiken schroefdraad en gaten voor probleemloze montage;
- Let op, eventuele uitzonderingen bij bepaald type deuren staan aangegeven bij de Extra specificaties toepasbaarheid.
